    Well that sucks. Spent 15 days setting up a neat farm with a row for each crop only to find that a lureplant ate half of it one day.

    I love rogue like but havent played this yet and am just curious if anyone would mind giving me a rundown of why they love the game (what separates it from other rogue likes etc) Love the art style but thats kinda all i know. Thanks for any feedback and let me know what you all think makes this title so special. Thanks again.

    I've played DS (not DST) for over 200 hours and I STILL feel like a newbie. I have only explored the caves during one playthrough, where I made it to 161 days. I started out with vanilla DS then recently added RoG, where I felt like I've started all over again. Sometimes I alt-F4 when I die which is a bad habit, but getting slaughtered in 30 seconds by something like frog rain at night after 10 hours of base building sucks...

    I suck at kiting although I'm getting a little better... played as Wendy a few times which "helps" but Abigail is kind of a crutch. I've also played Willow (nope), Wigfrid (meh) and I'm back to playing with Wilson. I still haven't crafted a meat effigy.

    Not really any question here, just a confession that this game has a steep learning curve.

    Is Wilson the best character to play as?

    One of my friends who has been playing this game for some time told me that Wilson is the best character cause he has no downsides. He told me to not play as Wickerbottom cause of the sanity drain. Is it true that Wilson is the best? Should I switch to play as Wilson instead of the Librarian? I really like the librarian recently I started getting good with playing as her.

    I need ideas about my caves only world

    Basically I set off to playing the Game in caves only, but I want to make a way to go to the overworld for lets say a Day. What Will be a good sacrifice to do so I can go to the overworld? I was thinking something like 50 nightmare fuel or maybe a certain amount of other valuables? What do you suggest? I want it to be a bit difficult to stay in the overworld but possible to be there for a few days. All suggestions welcome! This is dont starve together

    Why are farms considered so bad?

    I'm not talking about berry,twig and grass farms.

    I can see why the basic farms are bad, but the improved ones seem really good. They're easy to craft and only cost one seed per veggie plus if you get a birdcage you get any veggies you want.

    I'm sorry if they are considered useful, I've just seen a lot of people say that they are bad.

    Ships are weird (not sea kind)

    So most characters don't seem not know everyone I mean some do but until we get a youtube series we don't know. Also I don't get the webber/Wendy ship cause A. webbers main goal is to make spooder and Wendy's main goal is to destroy spiders and B. Although there is some stuff like age Wendy is dark and scary while webber is light and happy so webber and wurt would work(same age, both happy, hate pigs and they seem chill with spooder/merm but I dunno cause I never ask but tell me some odd ship that you have seen. Sorry if its long I haven't made a long post in a while
