Does wendy's petal buff scale when wendy is riding a beefalo?

    Posted: 19 Jun 2020 06:29 PM PDT

Used to rush beefalos early game as wendy before her rework and I want to start a new world and rush one again but if the beefalo isnt affected by the 1.4 buff their is no real point

[DST] Without taking damage, I soloed Klaus. No "cheap" tactics were used. Only kiting!

Need tips for kiting deerclops and antlion

    Posted: 19 Jun 2020 05:20 PM PDT

If I kite deerclops with three hits then run, I almost always get hit, and sometimes I get hit if I do two. I'm running away, running back immediately after he attacks and lock on with auto attack or whatever. why am I still getting hit?

If I fight antlion, I always get stuck in sand spikes and take a lot of hits. How do I avoid this?

The Best Don't Starve Together's Minion?

    Posted: 19 Jun 2020 03:04 AM PDT

In Don't Starve Together, there are 7 types of minions players can hire for combat: Bunnymen, Damaged Clockworks, Lure Plants, Merms, Merm Guards, Pigs, Rock Lobsters, & Spiders.

Damaged Clockworks are known to be expensive for their unreliability, so they're out of the question.

The following opinions are through experience; are they the best minion for you?

Rock Lobsters [2250 HP, 56.25 DMG], although extremely tough & damaging, are limited only to the underground. They are extraordinarily slow. Usually, players find themselves using Rock Lobsters fighting only Depths Worms & maybe the Ancient Guardian if they're alone.

Pigs [250 HP, 33 DMG], although always available from the get-go, are frail & weak. They're most often in Pigskin farms than in combat.

Bunnymen [200 HP, 40 DMG] are vegans, only eat carrots, & a little frail, but they do considerably more DMG than pigs (they have a smaller attack period). I often find them used for spider farms & cheesing raid bosses like Bee Queen & Shadow Pieces. They do not attempt to kite. As a result, they are the glass cannons of the minions.

I think the best minions are narrowed down to 3 mobs:

Spiders' [100 HP, 20 DMG] strength relies on their numbers, and many creatures don't have the luxury of AoE attacks. They are cheap to house, eat drops, & a better alternative to pigs.

Merms [500 HP, 30 DMG] are the cheap version of Merm Guards. They're cheap to hire, only needing plants to hire like 2 cooked berries for 1 day. Their high speed, kiting nature, & tough exterior allows them to last in battle, even if they don't do much DMG.

Merm Guards [660 HP, 50 DMG] are the highest quality minions. Yet, the only need 2 cooked berries to be hired for a day. HOWEVER, there is one great flaw about them: the route that leads up to them is too long. Wurt will have to find herself many KELP FRONDS if she wishes to even hire the Merm Guards. Even then, housing them is a little costly.

I feel that, even with its great stats, Wurt's minions are outmatched by Webber's spiders. What do you think?

EDIT: Added merm than just merm guard & typo.
