| Thoughts on wes refresh/rework? Posted: 02 Apr 2021 05:50 PM PDT Wes is arguably still the worst character, but that the point of him in don't starve. I personally think the refresh actually makes him more helpful considering hounds (and i think thunder) has a higher chance of going at him instead, meaning other survivors have a higher chance of living, also the fact that his balloons are op (arguably). | Don't Starve: Pocket Edition+ on Apple Arcade: What does it mean? Posted: 02 Apr 2021 12:08 PM PDT First of all, what does the "plus" part mean? I can't tell if something is "extra" to it (it says it has the QoL update with beefalo taming but I'm not sure if Pocket Edition already had that or not). Beyond that it seems like something must be different about it. I don't think Apple can just take what they want and shove it in Arcade, so you'd think Klei would need to work with them on that. However, what's interesting to me is that I already had Pocket Edition installed on my phone. Pocket Edition+ is a separate installation entirely, so it's not "the same" files. Even if the change is just a couple of lines of code saying it's an Arcade game, something had to be done to make it a separate install, I'd think. Anyone know what the changes might have been? Perhaps it means that we're looking at new updates for Pocket Edition+ going forward? I'd be surprised if Apple wanted to host a game that was already "end of life" in terms of support. Just started playing don't starve together after years of inactivity and I've noticed you can buy skins for your items. I'm currently on about day 50 in a world with my friend - could I just whip out a kooky looking axe or do I have to await until I make a new world? And how does it work anyway? If I buy a skin for like 30p in the steam marketplace, does it just look different every time I craft it? What's the deal here? [link] [comments] | ||

But I have an issue with FPS stuttering. When I first ran DS like months ago, I had the same issue but I fixed it somehow and I don't know what I did. I have a gtx 1060 6gb and i5 8300H so I know it's not my specs. I tried triple buffering on and disabling v sync, nothing. I tried a combination of those, nothing. I tried without full screen, nothing. I tried using integrated graphics, nothing. Please could someone help me fix this? I don't know what else to do. [link] [comments] | ||

| When will Don't Starve Together game go on sale? Posted: 02 Apr 2021 03:56 AM PDT I was really hoping it would be on sale during the Steam Remote Play Together event, but sadly it wasn't, which was extremely disheartening as I was looking forward to the event specifically to get this game. I was also checking it every day for some flash sales, but no such luck. I would really want this game, and so I was wondering if anyone knows when it will be on sale next. [link] [comments] | ||
