So there is something that is bodering me about the Shipwreck island and Hamlet in the lore.... Posted: 04 Mar 2021 11:46 PM PST Ok so, one day, i decided to look at the lore of the game and i wondered about something... So there is "Them" the big shawdowy evils that control the Constant, then there was Maxwell, who "customized" it a bit. Now is Charlie. I can undestand the pattern. There is them, and they get some person to represent them, they trap it in they trone, and force him to do their dirty work. Is assumable that all of the vanilla constant is on Charlie's jurisdiccion now. But who are controling the ShipWreck islands? And Hamlet? Are they even canon? Hamlet is easy, the Queen Malfalfa, Wilba's mother. I mean, there is no directly proof that the Queen is the Charlie of Hamlet. But is the only thing that makes sense. Also, something odd i pick on is the tendency of these "ruler" characters to have some kind of artistic skill. William is a magician. Charlie tecnically also is, even only been his assistant. That fat bastard for the Forge is marcial art (even thought he does nothing al day lol) The goat lady and her son from the Gorge have culinary art. Queen Malfalfa probably has lazy arts lol. The point his, all these "artist" somehow customized their realm. So, does the SwipWreck islands even have a designated creator or artist? Are they outside "Them" juristiccion? They even exist in the same vanilla constant, somewhere? [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Mar 2021 10:17 AM PST I have only seen one station (set piece) and it got destroyed by a rook from a pile I hammered. Am I screwed? Edit: I'm pretty sure I'm almost done with the entire ruins. I just have to kill the ancient guardian. [link] [comments]
When in summer does Dragonfly Spawn? (Single-Player) Posted: 04 Mar 2021 08:14 PM PST I'd rather not have to go through too many more Fire Hound waves without Scalemail, especially as a Wormwood main since the poor guy catches fire so easily. One source I found claims she spawns in the first 10 days of summer, but that was back in 2016 so IDK if that's still the case. [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Mar 2021 05:52 AM PST Who would be the best character for a relatively new player? I have Reign of Giants and have so far, Wilson, Willow, Wolfgang, Wendy, and Webber. I do like Willow, Wendy, and Webber for their fire, ghost, and spider abilities respectively. Things I usually look for in a character: A person who has some resistance, has a better stomach and can eat most things, good sanity, and somebody who can befriend monsters easily. Should I stick to a character on this list or should I try to get a new character and stick to that? [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Mar 2021 08:58 AM PST I think a migration mechanic with a DS twist could add a lot of gameplay elements such as the addition of an arctic biome. Said arctic biome could then be migrated to during summer to avoid the heat, but at the expense of increased difficulty. The environment in the arctic would be colder and harsher than a regular winter, predators roam the biome finding players over time cause a hound-ish like encounter, a scarcity of resources, and a upgraded boss encounter all to just escape some of the heat. I think the element would be a cool addition or at the least a hefty mod for a programmer with the knowhow. So Id just like to see what the community thinks at large. [link] [comments]
How to kindly kick the eaglets out of the nest? Posted: 04 Mar 2021 09:45 AM PST I've been playing on public servers a lot lately. One thing I have often noticed is the amount of players who join, walk to base, and then never leave. How can I convince them that the best way to find food is to go walk around and forage? What tasks can I give them to venture away from base a little? [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Mar 2021 05:11 AM PST I am trying to make a list of all reward links, including how many points/spools they give, and, most importantly, their origin. Maybe you can help me complete this list, and maybe it can help some of you who didn't know of all the links. So far I've got: * Encore No More from the forum post „Twitch Drops Hiatus" * My Pretty Beefalo from the Year of the Beefalo Post I would appreciate if you could post any other working links you know of, and include a link to where they came from. :) [link] [comments]
