    My boyfriend and I just started playing Don't Starve Together. So far we realize we have a lot to learn. I've been reading about characters and then came to the question: which two characters work best together, but are also beginner friendly? also any tips are more then welcome :) thank you!

    Optimal overheating items?

    I've been trying to find information on overheating and how it's calculated but can't find anything. I see the overheating temperature and insulation values in the wiki, but how exactly is it calculated? I was wearing just the floral shirt and carrying a thermal stone chilled in an ice box but it was getting warm within a day or so. Then I started wearing the dumbrella, floral shirt and thermal stone and noticed the stone seemed to warm up at the same rate.

    Is there diminishing returns with multiple items or is 240 insulation the max? I feel like I'm overkilling it, but without testing can't be sure (and I'd rather not on this play through because I'm trying to survive as long as possible and don't want to mess around).

    Any tips appreciated thanks.

    Help with Bats

    So I am playing a solo dst world and made it to my first summer and went to the caves to base, I found out that a sinkhole right next to my base leads almost right next to the ruins entrance, Everything was perfect until I found out that there was a bat biome somewhat close to it. Bats then started going through my base to the sinkhole entrance to fly up and at morning would fly down, sleep, then attack me. Im looking for any way to control or get rid of them entirely. I tried to de-spawn the bat caves and it ended up crashing my game. If there's any mods that help please direct me to them.

    Don't Starve Together lagging. Im not hosting (my friend is), lag prediction disabled, 60 FPS and ping bars have green colour. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

    Is there a bug affecting drop rates on the Shellmet right now?

    I've killed dozens and got 3 Snurtle Shell Armours and stacks of the other drops but I haven't got a shellmet. I know the drop chance is meant to be 10% but it's getting ridiculous now.

    I need the Shellmet for the achievement btw, if you're wondering why I'm trying to get it.

    What is the food that takes the lowest time to make in a crockpot?

    she hasnt spawned after 25 days after beating her and i have het set to lots. i really need to beat her (for scales i would normally use a deconstruction staff) because i have the mod Heap Of Foods wich adds coffee bushes from sw and, you guessed it, she drops them. also what is she gonna do after being spawned? fly away?
