| Posted: 02 Oct 2020 02:04 AM PDT The ultimate result would be some shape-shifting ability (like Woodie has). The second idea I had is that he would be able to do something with nightmare creatures and nightmare fuel. The third, not-so-great idea of mine was that he would gain very little hunger points by eating food, but getting some massive ones by killing or hurting innocent animals. However, I'm a digital artist, not a programmer. I've even thought about collaborating with someone to make this one really stand out. This would be my second Don't Starve character mod, I've made a Spinel one (from Steven Universe) earlier. She mostly have sanity aura stuff, so I'm mostly experienced in basic character perks and stat maipulating effets. What are your thoughts? [link] [comments] | ||

I'm calling it Jack the Ripper so far Rules: Always nighttime, No cave, Maybe some other special worldgen options as well, PvP on, I'd have to kill 7 different players, and if I die I lose There's also some rules to the kills, basically no cheap ones; the player has to be in the world for 5 minutes before I can kill them, or it doesnt count Im also gonna soft ban my use of Wortox, because wortox, the people who join still can though. | Lag compensation "Movement prediction" Posted: 01 Oct 2020 07:03 AM PDT Hi guys, i would like to ask if anyone of you doesn't know how to answer me, so the game is basically trying to predict what will happen as if you turn the setting off you will see where you actualy are, but there is slight delay between your imputs and the time it actualy makes what you clicked or pressed, why when playing without Caves, the game has absolute 0 delay between you and the server even tho you have lagg prediction off and when you make a server with caves it starts to delay between imputs, i think its because when you start the game you host 1 server (surface) and when you add caves you the game starts a dedicated server that runs while you play the surface "for you" and because you aren't hosting the whole thing urself there is delay between you and the game, is there any way, of hosting both of these servers on your pc WITHOUT DEDICATED SERVER so i can have 0ms to server im playing at? even if it ment that i have to play alone, is there an actual way of playing lag prediction off, having caves and 0ms imputs? please let me know if you know anything about this...
