    Hello all, hope everyone is fine and safe. Some changes for the sub!

    Moderators

    You may have noticed that there is two new moderators in the subreddit.

    You might already know /u/MrMulk from the DST Discord who have joined the mod team for the partnership between our two communities. He will help me with moderation notably when I'm sleeping since our time zone are different.

    The second one is none other than the famous AutoModerator. For now he will be used for making auto thread like the Question thread and the two new dedicated days. Since it's the first time I set it up I will have to keep an eye to make sure the post work properly.

    Meme Monday and Let's Play Friday

    Memes is a tricky subject. On one hand lurkers love them (you just have to see how upvoted they are), on the other they don't contribute a lot and since they are easy to make they can flood the subreddit. Let's Play have a bit of the same issue.

    So to try a solution to not completely remove meme without having the sub flooded, I set up two days which will be announced with Pinned Threads dedicated for those. Memes will only be allowed on Monday while Let's Play and other link to video channel (twitch, youtube..) will be allowed on Friday. Rest of the time they will have to be posted in dedicated megathread.

    It will start from new week.

    Rules update

    To reflect that I added a 6th rule on the sub.

    I also tried to make rule 3 and 5 a bit more exhaustive on their description (https://www.reddit.com/r/dontstarve/wiki/beforeposting), rule 3 now also count Tier List with no explanation and bad quality picture.

    For rule 5 will count as spam: If you make 3 posts or more in an hour that could be reasonnably put together.

    Don't Starve Mega Pack

    Play Don't Starve Together with split-screen local co-op – available exclusively on PS4 and XB1

    Says on the box that the mega pack includes Don't Starve Together. And says that you can play local or online co-op.

    That's pretty unambiguous language, but my girlfriend and I cannot figure out how to actually use the feature. Tried for a solid hour or two last night, looking at posts and trying things.

    Can anyone tell us how to not starve together?

    Trying to get my friend into the games

    So i want my friend to get into dont starve because i think he would like it as much as i do. He has never played dont starve or seen anything about it so i dont really want his experience to be influenced by me knowing all about the games (if i buy him dst) I thought abt it and maybe getting him to play vanilla dont starve first would be the best idea Any tips/advice what i should do?
