    I've had Don't Starve for a loooong time now. About a year ago I was able to reach day 48 before dying. Since then I have forgotten virtually everything about the game. It's so tough getting back into it because it's discouraging to explore the map for 45 minutes to get the world outline, only to die right after that..over..and over...I feel like I'm wasting my time and I never enjoy a game where i feel like it's a chore. Are there any tips anyone can give me? I really do want to keep trying.

    Me and my friend have been playing DST together for a while now, and recently we bought the game for 3 of our other friends, so we could play with them.

    So, two of us are experienced, so we don't matter, but what characters would you recommend for the 3 new players? Preferably without 2 or more of the same character.
