    Walter slingshot aggro

    The wiki says: "Attacks from the Trusty Slingshot will not draw aggro if the target is fighting something else." yet that's not what we're watching happen. For example, we went on a beefalocide for horns (7 beefs, 0 horns, btw) and I was pulling the beefs and tankitting then (ie: trying to kite but getting hit half of the time) while my Walter partner hit them with the slingshot and everytime she hit them, I had to run behind the beef to hit it and get the aggro again. Is the wiki wrong or something??

    Disclaimer: Started getting back into Don't Starve singleplayer after a long hiatus. I was playing Wilson in a Shipwrecked world.

    Day 18 I'm on 49 health and things seem to be going good after I'd managed to recover from a poison attack. I was in the middle of chopping a coconut tree on a small island a little ways away from the main island I set up my base.

    So I'm chopping this coconut tree, right?

    Chop! Chop! Chop!

    Clunk!

    Suddenly, cries of pain from Wilson! A coconut landed on his head! No big deal, I'll heal up from that!

    Chop! Chop! Chop!

    Clunk!

    Incredibly, another stupid coconut landed on Wilson's poor head! A little concerning that Wilson is on 9 health, but these coconuts will surely help whip up some crockpot recipes!

    Chop! Chop!

    CLUNK!

    Trumpet deathrattle

    A third damn coconut fell from the same tree not two axe strikes later!

    Ugh, that's a pain. The touchstone I found on my main island is now gone and it's only day 19. My armored boat with a snakeskin sail is also by the second island as well as the vast majority of my gear. Thankfully, I already had a spare raft built and I can get there quickly. I spend some time to gather some basic supplies and to make a Dragonpie from the fruit that just grew in my farm.

    Growling noises in distance

    I tried to paddle to the island as fast as possible, but eight crocodogs spawned and prevented me from grabbing my gear safely from the dense pile of gear under that cursed coconut tree next to a rock. I somehow managed to grab my log suit, but I had to retreat into my good boat and spend the night desperately sailing between jellyfish, with my boat rapidly losing health. As I'm still trying to figure out combat in Don't Starve, I was only able to kill two crocodogs on the beach as day broke before Wilson perished on that beach: torn to pieces without an ounce of sanity left.

    TL;DR: Was persistent in cutting a coconut tree at low health. Three coconuts fell from the same tree and killed me. Eight crocodogs spawned the next day, even though it was only day 19.

    Ways to kill dragonfly after a spring start?

    So uhm.. There is a giant bug sleeping next to my base. I am completely unprepared (first time she spawned for me, and my first succesfull spring start. Didn't know she'd follow like deerclops) I have an old bell and a pan flute, but read she'll move before the foot hits. I don't have enough resources to tank her, so that's not an option right now. Are there any mobs that'll be effective? Thanks!

    So i was in my world and at the night of day 19, and i got hounds, the 2 normal and 1 fire. I've never gotten a fire hound so early before, i thought they were supposed to start spawning in summer and then continue. Is this a glitch? Or just random?
