    If Don’t Starve was a live action movie, who would be the actors?

    I'm genuinely curious about what other people think the real life versions of the characters would look like! I personally believe Angelina Jolie (Maleficent) would be a great Charlie. I also think Jim Carey would be a great character for multiple reasons. 1) Great actor 2) literally a shapeshifter 3) he is TALL 4) maxwell isn't really that serious of a villain, he's more of a villain you make fun of than fear. What do y'all think? Would certain characters like Webber and Wortox be CGI? I've been thinking about this for a while, what if it WAS movie? There's no demand for it but what if?

    Cave base story

    So, i after gearing for winter, decided to make a cave base for summer, there is a very close cave by my base, however, it appears to be... In the ruins, or atleast near it, as i've seen what i think is the labyrinth and a few nightmare lights, this world has been very lucky so dar, with a day 1 chester even, so just to make sure, is what i just found the ruins? Im still a bit confused.

    Wurt vs. Beequeen

    Need some advice on killing the bee queen as Wurt(and for the first time ever).

    How many Craftsmerm houses do I need against her? I have 17 houses and 2 Flortifiations atm.

    How many beekeeperhats? Plqnning to give some to merm guards at least.

    What about heals? It's my first time so I can't really kite her(Not sure if it's doable anyway.)

    I got to do more prep anyway just lokking for advice on what to focus on since I have to wait till spring since Mermking doesn't boost other merms during winter.

    Why Wendy always needed a rework

    As I´m sure you can read from the title of the post I and I´m sure other people too believe that wendy always needed a rework, because of the following reasons :

    • Her very basic stats make her boring to play
    • Abigail never really made up for Wendy´s downside
    • The "Comfortable with darkness" perk is pretty much useless
    • Webber and Woodie outclass her

    Basic stats - one of the main reasons most people ( but not all ) find her boring to play as. To be honest I always thought that characters with basic stats ( like Woodie and Wormwood ) should have abilities that completely alter their play styles, but Wendy is not the case as her abilities don´t make her that much different from Wilson or even Wes. That´s why I suggest that Wendy should be a character that started out weak but grew stronger with Abigail by her side.

    Abigail - personally think that doing 10 damage during the day is way too little to make up for Wendy´s 25% less damage downside as although it is an area of effect attack it takes way too long to kill mobs during the day which usually results in Abigail getting killed first. Yes, Abigail does do more damage the more dark it gets but it´s only increased by 10 and 20 at night but by the time that happens there will be more monsters then loot, even if you are fighting at night time when Abigail does 40 damage who wants to drain even more sanity from the monsters and night at the same time ? And even if Abigail does die ( again ) and you use the trick of having 2 flowers in your inventory you lose 50 sanity from summoning her again and plus 20 or even more if you´re fighting at night time. This should be an easy fix by giving Abigail more health and making her deal more damage or maybe even make her debuff enemies like she does in the re-Forge mod.

    Darkness perk - as stated before this "upside" is like it never was even added in the game same way how Wolfgang´s "is afraid of the dark and monsters" downside doesn´t really exist. Hopefully this´ll get changed to no sanity lost in the dark and monsters which would better fit the character of Wendy as she doesn´t seem to fear death and it would make her look like she´s actually comfortable in the dark.

    Easily outclassed - sadly this is true as Wendy and Abigail are pretty much outclassed by, well, everyone. Webber and reworked Woodie can gather spider loot much better then Wendy and her Aoe damage dealing pig. The only time Abigail´s truly effective is with clearing bees which even thou this would be the more expensive method of doing it, but a Wigfrid with Wormwood´s bramble husk armour can do the same job aswell as Abigail.

    This post was simply created because of the endless wait even for the announcment of the rework and because of people saying that "Wendy doesn´t need a rework just slight changes" usually said by people who consider themselves as mains of her, people who consider her as their "waifu" ,beginners and or people who just need to have a guardian on them all the time. So this my response to them and also showing how flawed Wendy really is.
