    Obviously thats just my opinion,but I feel the community went "wow new Willow is OP" for a few days after the remake and then forgot about her.If you are inclined to main her or just to try her I will give some tips, tricks and general guidelines to her abilities.

    -Willow's lighter can be used to cook food in your inventory and last for a good while,making early days exploration more smooth since you dont need to collect wood to cook your food(she cooks food faster than other characters too).Once it runs out I dont recommend crafting another,stick to torches 'till you get a lantern.

    -Secure glommer asap and hoard that delicious goop:there is no better user of glommer goop than Willow,its both emergency heal AND protection since it allows you to activate BERNIE! at will.Avoid using it as fuel,Willow already has a nice bonus when adding fuel to fire.

    -BERNIE! makes Willow the mob control queen,with him she can farm shadow creatures,spiders,save you from hound attacks,depth worm attacks,clear ruins,farm normal AND shadow splumonkeys;that annoying splumonkey stole something from you and now is running away?not from BERNIE!.He will even help you clear werepigs during full moons. I guess he could also help with walruses but they are pushovers and you shouldnt need him for that ;)

    -In general I prefer to leave deerclops and bearger to the treeguards but if you decide to melee them he will provide additional dps and protection against the shadow creatures if the insanity aura gets you.

    -2 bearnies is all you'll ever need,since sewing kits and trusty tapes repair them to 100% lay down both of them and once one is down repair him while the other activates.And seriously,if you can get a Winona ask her to make you a stack of tapes,they will really prolong any stay at the ruins and are more convenient to carry than sewing kits.

    -She is one of the best characters to solo klaus starting from the first winter.Her immunity to fire and decreased damage from overheating means you can just tank the fire deer magic and get a lot of free hits for only a few points of health.I managed my first solo klaus not knowing his kiting patterns too well and only needed 8 football helms and 13 pierogis. Now can do with less than half of that,its good practice.

    -Seems like klei sneakily fixed the ancient guardian tendency to get wrecked behind a pillar,so now it gives more of a fight,but thanks to BERNIE! you can still solo him with relative ease,just get near a pillar for protection and time your hits so they dont overlap with the guardian charging BERNIE!

    -you can activate the lazy deserter repeatedly to save goop if you are near base and need the help of BEARNIE!

    Thats all that comes to mind for now,feel free to ask anything or share your own experience with her.

    New fix for Merm King causes issues with Caves

    Yes, getting 100hp and the rest just from making new king was broken, however since it was fixed now wurt gets back to her base stats when she exits cave.

    Basically if you have a king and now go into caves with 250 life/hunger 200 sanity when you come out the stats are depleted to her base ones. All in all it costs 100life 50 sanity&hunger to go get some light bulbs

    Feeding Merm King on controller is super tedious.

    Loving Wurt so far, definitely a top tier character. My problem is that feeding the merm king or a soon to be Merm King is such a pain in the ass with a controller. The game detects the Royal Tapestry first and wants you to examine that and wont focus on the merm to allow me to feed him. I have to manipulate my camera and run back and forth until I get lucky basically.

    An easy fix would be to only allow you to examine the Tapestry when there isnt a Merm sitting on it.

    edit: solution is to press "L3" (click on left stick) to lock your target when near the merm king. No problem feeding him now.

    Need help with Moose Goose and Craftsmerm House (bugged?)

    Re-started playing a week ago after a 2 year break. So lots of new things but

    1. I can't sometimes hit Moose Goose. I just swing the weapon without actually hitting. This is very random though since it sometimes works. But overall it took 1 and a half days of constant hitting/missing dodging to finally kill it. This happened in different games and different characters.

    2. After my merms died they didn't respawn. Except for the merm guard, no problem with that guy. Any ideas why? Currently at 7 merm houses and 1 guard. Also when i constructed another merm house no merm ever came out eithef.

    Extremely high volume and not able to control volume with system.

    Hi guys!

    I've just bought DS and DST and in both games sound is extremely loud and doesn't respond to system controls. I've set all sounds to 1 but it's still a bit too loud. Anyone have any problems with not working system's controls? Is there any solution?
