    Here's how you get infinite meat really quickly in Hamlet!

    With this strategy Hamlet becomes a total joke!

    1. Build a Watchtower.
    2. Kill the Royal Guard for meat and halberd.
    3. Hammer down the Watchtower with a normal hammer
    4. A Royal Guard will spawn. Kill him for meat and halberd. You can use the halberd from the previous guard.

    Now you have two options here

    Option 1: Do nothing. A worker pig will spawn. Kill him for meat and hammers. Once you do, a new one will spawn almost immediately. How much meat you get is determined solely by how fast you kill the worker pigs. If you kill the worker pigs right quick you will get a lot of meat really quickly!

    Option 2: Hammer the Watchtower until it is fixed. Then hammer it down again to spawn a new Royal Guard. How much meat (and halberds) you get is determined solely by how fast you kill the Royal Guards!

    Option 1 doesn't work during the aporkalypse but Option 2 certainly does.

    The only downside to both strategies is that you will be flooding with halberds, torches, and hammers. Way more than you can ever hope to use them so you're gonna get cluttered.

    I don't think I need to mention that you get hammers for free, and it takes hammers to spawn Royal Guards, so essentially you get all of this for free!

    Someone should put this on the wiki!

    So I posted here a few days ago asking for help finding the lunar island, I found it but it seems a little... not right? it only has Lunar Archipelagos. Am I just dumb or is my world messed up? I have over 100 days in this world and really don't want to abandon it because of this.

    My friend and I have recently started playing DST for the first time and we are struggling to make it past the first few days of winter. I've been following a lot of guides to help but I feel almost hard stuck at day 20-25. Food is always a problem despite having a Berry farm, rabbit traps, bird cage etc. It feels like I'm so focused on food that I can't get other resources fast enough. I've tried day 1-2 base set up, day 10 base set ups and no matter what we do it feels like we don't have enough time to get anything done by the time you get food.

    My main questions are; - I've seen a lot of differing views from over the years and I'm not sure which still hold up as of now. Some people say only farm rabbit for tonnes of morsels and jerky, some say berry farms, I haven't made any normal farms as everyone says they're trash. Which method should I be going for early game?? - should I destroy spider nests, I find myself low on silk a lot of the time and we almost exclusively destroy nets, is it better to farm the spiders or crack the nests?? - is it better to set up near beefalo or pig huts?? I'm not really sure what's renewable when it comes to animals like that. - when should I put my base down? I haven't had many issues with the location but we're never sure when to do it. - lastly, how many of each should we make when it comes to traps, berry bushes, etc??

    I know this is a bit of a word dump but I've been really enjoying the game but there are so many different opinions it's hard at the start to figure out what your best option is. Thanks.

    Is there a mod for Maxwell that makes his shadows like they are in the singleplayer game? (multitaskers)

    Muted game alert mods?

    Hi, sorry if this is a weird one.

    Is there a mod that does any kind of game stop/alert for things like the deerclops or hound attacks? I know they have sounds before and the characters make comments but I have to play with the sound off and I miss 100% of the character comments. I've had a look but I'm not sure what specifically to search for.

    So I missed the year of the beefalo event but since I got to the game and community about a month ago I didn't see anyone even mentioning how easy it is to control beefalos and making new herds now. You can bond a beefalo to the bell go to place where you want the new herd to be just drop the bell on the ground and feed beefalo some sticks to begins the domestication process the you can just leave it there and I saw that when it spawned new babies they just stayed there as a new herd. Do people just don't care and/or talk about it or is it something that not many players knew about? In my experience it's really useful for dealing with hounds since you can start anytime you want at a price of 3 gold and 1 flint. I currently have 5 herds in my world 1 on the cave entrance for dealing with bats 1 near spider dens for occasional loot but when I pass them 2 for hounds for safety and 1 for manure/meat/wool and it work very well for me.
