    Is lag comp a bandaid that should be ripped off?

    I tried to break myself into it by ruins rushing with lag comp off but what the hell how do you feel confident in movement like this? Not being able to flip on a dime feels super wrong, but the attack speed bug being fixed seems worth it?

    What is this?? Just found it in caves with a friend. It has durability but I can't do anything with it. Only mod we have is global positions.

    Allright.. This is a rollercoaster ride.

    I had the plan to kill bearger by using the treeguard method. Used him to chop down an entire forest biome.. NOT A SINGLE TREEGUARD. Allright, fine.. Take him for a stroll through the swamp for some tentacle loot (dont have many, they barely scratched him). I have a small living forest in my desert, which is behind the swamp. So i decided to lead him through there. He finished them off. Okay, hound mounds next, they where done quick too.

    By this point i was out of ideas. I lost sight of him for a second, and then i noticed it.. Wilson's dreadfull words.. 'oops'. Then i started overheating. I guess there was a summer trap in my desert that bearger activated.

    Now i have 3 options:

    1. My game hasn't saved yet. I can close it and start over. I really don't feel like doing summer. Had a spring start, and it was supposed to be my second winter in two game days. This seems like a cheap way out though. Also my only other option to kill him, is to kite, and i am playing mobile. (i did happen to have a stack of jerky and a fresh hambat on me when he spawned, so not bad)
    2. Escape through a wormhole,and deal with summer. (question: will bearger follow me through it? If so he will destroy a big part of my base, got lots of full drying racks)
    3. Go to the caves for a bit, there is a sinkhole near. No lantern/miner hat on me though, they're in base.

    What's the best option? Any other ideas?
