    incase you are wondering i added small swirls with my pyrography set in the corners. i tried to keep the stain a bit blotchy to match the game style

    Can you aggravate treeguards as wormwood?

    If you chop too many trees will he spawn because it feels like you go insane before he comes? Even in DST with my friend who plays woodie he doesn't seem to be spawning. Can he not spawn if your wormwood

    So its summer in my RoG base but I did not have enough gears to make even one flingomatic. So I decided to base in the Slanty Shanty that year. My plan is to put the pig shops is my home so I can eat and survive. But I'm not sure if this will crash the game or not. I wouldn't call this cheating, more desperate for survival because believe me, I am getting out of there in autumn.

    I just noticed that Abigail likes killing the wobsters I catch if I don't pick them up fast enough.

    I was fishing for wobsters to store on my boat tin can, but I noticed that I was picking up dead wobsters. Took me awhile to realize that after a second or two, Abigail would go kill it even if she's not in aggressive mode. Is this normal behavior for her?

    I am having problem with notebook performance :(

    I play Don't starve in my notebook but every time when I am playing, my notebook starts to slow down the game. Almost always when I'm playing the shipericked DLC. I've tried to reduce all the effects and graphics but I still have the same problem. I also tried to switch to laptop mode, but when starting a new game it seems that the game pulls all the performance from my computer as if it were a heavy game. I don't have this problem when I am playing don't starve together, maybe the original don't starve is heavier? My notebook have a 940gx, 8RAM, it's a i5 and have a 420 SSD memory. I always play with the notebook plugged in, by the way.

    Said it before, I'll say it again. Wormwood is bad as a character. Making food not heal is literally just a gigantic annoyance, the friend of plants perk is useless because meatbulbs are literally just counteracted by boats and barnacles are crap anyways, and the green thumb tab only has gimmicks, the living log being the only useful thing (even though it becomes useless when Bearger arrives because of tree farms). The armor has crap absorption. I know it's main purpose is to protect against the traps, but the traps are bad. Tooth traps are better, and it's not like traps have literally any purpose besides for hound waves, as the damage isn't really useful for killing bosses as you can easily outdamage it with any weapon, and you have to reset them. Healing with shit is useless. Being able to plant seeds on the ground is yet another gimmick that is only useful in few situations, as there are far better sources of food. While it synergizes with Warly because of the farm-only plants, you could just make farms that keep the plants fresh forever, and can be picked at any time. The blossoming is nice because of the speed bonus, but that is only in spring.

    So, Wormwood is bad, and with all the other bad characters getting buffs or reworks (Willow, Woody), Wormwood is eventually going to be as useless as Wes. But I'm not complaining without having changes in mind.

    One ability that NEEDS to be added to his perk pool to make his plant friend perk not absolutely useless is the ability to craft meatbulbs. They're only available in spring, only two or maybe three spawn per season, and only one leafy meat is available per one per harvest. Being able to craft them would be a gigantic help, and maybe he could even craft other plant based allies (this will probably change with further updates which is why it's a "maybe"). The leafy meat recipes should also have better benefita to health, hunger, and sanity for only Wormwood. Having the leafy meat recipes be able to restore health and have better benefits would actually inspire Wormwood players to take advantage of leafy meat farms as well.

    Another ability is extending the blossoming to other seasons, and maybe grant different effects for each season. Autumn could be faster gathering or crafting, and spring could remain as a speed boost. Winter and Summer could provide detrimental effects like a decreased health pool or slower crafting and gathering times (he's a plant, he should wither in summer and winter). This would make your playstyle actually unique, and make you prepare for every season. You would gather all that you could in autumn in preparation for winter's bad effect.

    And for the love of God please make elegant skins change the blooming flower design.

    There are undoubtedly many more possible changes, but I'm not creative enough to think of any, so suggest more potential changes if you want.

    Wurt could use a Merm rework

    Merms vs Pigs When in comes to Merms or Pigs there is no doubt that the Merms are better the only real difference is the fact that Pig men are useful for crafting some of the best weapons and armor in the game via Hambats and Football helmets while the only weapons you can get From Merms are the Tentacle spots from the Tentacles that the Merms will be constantly killing. My idea is a new armor/weapon set that may be able to rival the Hambats and Football helmets as a way to make her a bit better for co op. Wurt could also benefit from the Fishermen's from shipwrecked that could continuously farm fish at the ponds as a may of making Merms better for more than just farming resources and fighting as Maxwell can do that 10x better. I am just curious on what everyone else's thoughts are.

    This is my current progress till day 142 and going strong.

    Food sources :

    • Bee farming ~ 15
    • Improved Farms ~ 12
    • Berry bushes ~ 100
    • Drying Racks ~ 20

    P.S, This is my second time playing Don't Starve . Although I have been watching lets plays since a long time. Just faced the mighty Deerclops (took forever along with alot of chaos lol).

    Any tips please. I'm loving every second of this game :D
