    (The title sounds like a clickbait YouTube video - "My HOUNDS are BROKEN??? (GONE SEXUAL))

    I'm playing pocket edition RoG, I'm about 155 days in. I turned hound waves off, and I've never experienced any. Which is great. But one day, out of the blue, Maxwell said his warning ("the hounds are growing restless").

    Maxwell proceeded to warn me 10+ times of this attack over the course of three in-game days. I can hear hounds growling, veeerry quietly, as if it just started. The noises aren't getting any louder. I've tried closing and re-opening the game, going underground, and googling it. I've never heard it mentioned. Has anyone else experienced this? Can I fix it in any way?

    Is it better if the player with the better computer hosts the world, or the one with the better Internet speed?

    FWIW, the one with the better hardware is in the same city with two other players, while the one with the faster connection will be playing with someone else in the same house.

    Also, do you guys have any other tips for reducing the lag in a DST game?

    I'm starting my world again, better world gen with reed traps. Wanna play with wicker in late game. Just a noob question before starting my world. Its Day 17 and I noticed after I came back from my base, those black thingy that appears after meteor shows where I plan to layout my base. Do meteors rain on these black spots? Should I just move them a bit south?

    It's day 13, I have a science and alchemy machine, a crock pot, 4 improved farms, 2 drying racks. About 6 rabbit traps which are just barely producing enough food to make meatballs every day.

    I just planted 6 berry bushes far enough away from camp that they won't burn down if I get attacked by one of those hounds which catches fire when you kill it.

    I have beefalo to the north of me and 5 pig houses surrounding my camp with the sea blocking my camp to the east. The pigs have already saved me from a hound attack.

    I'm surviving night to night, but I'm not building up food reserves for multiple days. And I'm having trouble finding enough seeds to keep my 4 farms growing. I don't have anything on my drying racks yet.

    What should I focus on next? I got into the first few days of winter once so I've survived more days than this, but this is the best camp I've built this early on and I feel like I'm wasting days just trying to make food.

    Can't delete mods

    Who do you play as and why? What is your record with them?

    I play as Wx-78 because he has virtually no downsides and can have outrageously high stats late game. He is a tad difficult to play as in Shipwrecked, but those with experience can make it work. My record is 41 in regular, 163 in Reign of Giants and 19 in Shipwrecked (just started playing Shipwrecked)

    Confusion over World Linking and New Game

    Hey guys, long time don't starver here back after a break

    ​

    So looking at starting a game and keen to be able to travel between worlds (The regular world/RoG, Hamlet and Shipwrecked). I've been googling and the consensus (unless I've misunderstood) seems to be that it's possible on a single save file.

    However when I launch a new game I only get the option to choose a game type- (DS/RoG/SW/HAM) and then when I do select it it asks me to choose ONE of the worlds to make it compatible with.

    Is this exclusively to do with mod compatability? Will I still be able to build the Sea and SKy worthy? or are you limited to travel to a single DLC world in a game?

    I like to use "F" on my keyboard, but I stand next to them and he doesn't hit them. I have to click with my left mouse button on the butterfly and then I can attack. It also worked if I hold ctrl and F, but that was a bit pain to do, I'm not that good player. Is there any way in settings or something that allows to attack just by pressing F and that's it?

    It also seam to be same issue with pig guards. I have to manually attack them before my "F" works.
