    I have been in a cave, full sanity and health. A hole apeared and the monster when u have low sanity apeared (remember I had full sanity). He killed me... Do he spawned from the hole or it was a bug? This hole was orange and it emmited light, I've never seen one before and been in caves for loooong. Also I couldnt screen shot. Another thing:I had a save where I was day 240 or something like that and entered the lvl 2 of the cave. I've spawned in a sort of temple and wanted to go up but my game was lagging and kicked me out, I reentered the game and the sound of picking items was replaying every while but everytine slower. Tried many times to reenter but the same thing was happening. Do someone knows what to do ? Delete the save, maybe leave phone on over night so maybe it will stop lagging or what else y'all will recommend

    found a secret ending (anyone else found it?)

    if you enter maxwell's door as maxwell, he won't be there to comment anymore. if you complete the ending as the puppet master, i found that your character dies after you put the staff thing in the keyhole and maxwell is reinstated at the throne also he reacts to the surroundings with hatred, saying the phonograph is "accursed" calling the chair "not as painful as it looks. barely." if you try to enter the portal again, you get pulled into the ground. maxwell will now comment on your existing on the next world again, but i couldn't get anything new out of him the next time. if you try to meet maxwell as maxwell, nothing changes really the animation is the same as maxwell dying, but the ending of maxwell being put in the throne is the same too. also, you leave as maxwell again. also if you die in the world as maxwell, he'll say "if out of all people, i should be able to do this." if you delete maxwell, and put the rod in the keyhole the game crashes on you. nice.

    What skin packs are the best?

    I have some money left over and im looking at all of these skin packs but i don't know which one of them gives me the most value,i would just like to hear everyones opinion.Also keep in mind im not looking for the thing that has the most skins im looking for the pack that has the best overall looking skins.

    Server Not Launching

    I was in my hosted game earlier today with a friend, when my wifi got disconnected but the server still kept running. I rolled back the server to a little bit after where when we got disconnected. Now, when I try launching it, it says launching for a while and never puts me in, but my friend is able to join and play. Why can't I get in?

    I haven't played in 2 years; should I play DS or DST?

    My friends and I picked up DST back in like 2017 and eventually stopped playing, but I want to get back into solo play and I can't tell which game I should be playing. I already own both games, but now there's a bunch of DLC for both games? And content that isn't shared between the two? And I've heard DST rebalancing means solo play in DST is almost impossible? What's the "definitive" solo experience these days?

    Audio auto setting to 0

    Every time I try and change the audio setting it auto sets itself to 0, yes I am clicking apply. This is resulting in no audio in the game. I validated game files, I updated drivers, and I have looked online for a solution and have yet to find one that worked, but I have seen the issue in similar threads. My audio drivers are Realtek, and I have an Asus laptop, if that helps.

    Gold to the person that can fix a high resolution version of berries for me

    Hi artists of this sub

    I need a high resolution of berries for a t-shirt Christmas gift for my friend. The picture has to be quite big, transparent and the file format can be anything, as long as it is lossless.

    Can anyone either draw a big version that looks like the original in the Don't Starve-style or help me fetch a high resolution version from the game (if it exists)?

    Backstory: My friend and I play a lot of dst, and I often find myself screaming at him because he tends to eat the berries instead of putting them in the crock pot. I'd like to make a grey t-shirt that he can wear at work without anyone ever thinking it's a game reference.

    I'm giving gold to the first version that works. Thank you!

    Beginner Questions

    Hi everyone. I just started playing this game ( the together version ) and im currently trying to play alone in my own hosted server. I have some questions.

    1) Can i pause ? I mean if i need to log out or if i have to leave for lets say 10 minutes,there is nothing to do ? I just die ? Can't i stop playing today and continue tomorrow from where i left ?

    2) How does a playthrough works simply ? Especially sanity seems hard. I have been just trying to get some loot and craft things but couldnt pass day 8 yet lol.

    3) Whats gonna happen when i go multiplayer ? People can just kill me and i start all over again ? And what is the ending or ultimate goal here ? Just surviving as much as i can ? Lets say i die at day 120. Thats it ? Game over ?

    I've solved one of life's greatest mysteries: how to take followers through the Sea/Skyworthy!

    Every once in a while I'll see someone claim that they managed to take a mob with them through one of the worthies, with no real explanation how, but I think I've finally figured out a consistent way to do so! From what I can tell, it seems to be as easy as simply befriending a mob, taking them to another layer (surface to caves, ruins to caves, etc), and then using the worthy there. When you do, they'll be waiting for you on the other side! Sadly it only seems to work with RoG mobs, since SW mobs won't follow you into the volcano.

    I'm mostly interested in it for decor, but one nice use I found for this is that you can actually physically push a damaged rook into obsidian boulders to crack them open without explosives.
