    BUG, Please help: HUD won't fit screen and it's really annoying

    I've recently comeback to Don't starve together after not playing for several months. However when i joined my first game, I encountered this really annoying and awkward bug where my HUD wouldn't fit my screen. It makes it somewhat difficult and annoying to access my inventory when half of it is off my screen. I don't think it has anything to do with my monitor because every other piece of UI still fits it perfectly. THIS IS EXTREMELY IRRITATING TO ME. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could offer any possible solutions.

    I see lot of advice regarding Wurt saying to rush the lunar island for the stone fruit,but nobody is talking about gathering the beached bull kelp in the lunar beach biome to replant it in the shore next to base,maybe its not common knowledge yet.

    Thats it,it regrows every 3 days,doesnt need fertilizing,wurt can eat it raw without penalty,it last forever in the fridge(and two forevers in the salt box) and it dries super fast to regain lots of sanity(and last 3 forevers dried in the ice box).

    Questions before I buy the game

    I saw the game is on sale and i've been interested in buying the game for a while. I was wondering how replayable and how difficult it is? I know it is a randomly generated map, so is replayable such that it is similar to binding of isaac where you constantly start a new game or is each game more long term like oxygen not included. Are the other DLC worth buying and is Don't starve together worth buying if i don't know anyone else who plays it. Thanks in advance!

    Character idea:Widebird, wide bird is a human shaped tall bird than is very good at flight Stats Health:200 Sanity:125 Hunger:100 Wide bird has the power of friendship, you probably think So he can befriend tallbirds Hahaha No Widebird can steal eggs from nests and hold them in his hands and take them to his own nest which costs 20 twigs 20 grass 3 manure and two trinkets After being in the nest for 2 days the egg hatches but look it's not an smallbird, it's abother wide bird that follows you, but the nest can only hold up to 3 eggs and then they hatch the nest becomes useless, well at least the won't betray you and they can also fly,speaking of which

    Widebird can press f+shift to fly, when he flies he loses 0.5 hunger a second at x 2.33 speed, this doesn't look bad until you see... 100 hunger, so he can fly for 200 seconds, but he can stand on top of trees or those things that appear in the sea and rest No he doesn't get hunger back but there you can eat, and he cannot fly with Armor on but can fight in the air, at least tall mobs , but if you hold f+shift you can go to the skies, mobs cannot go here as the lack flight but you can't use map or see down there because of those pesky clouds, but some ones can go up there tallbird can fly awkwardly small and wide follow you And dragon fly is still painful oh and the attacks 25% faster and does 10% less damage

    But everyone has weaknesses like racism is bad for him beacause he's black He is 10% slower in land And can't eat raw plant as it only becomes 1 seed which ends in and infinite cycle of eat and replant until it's out of the crockpot

    Who Do You Think Is The Best Character In DST?

    I just want to see what characters are the most popular among the community, so I would like it if you could tell me your favorite character and why. It doesn't have to be based on stats or abilities, some of us just like characters merely on design alone.

    Personally, I would say my favorite is WX-78 just because he has no real downside. He has some slight annoyance during the spring but other than that he is incredibly solid IMO.

    Returning Player and Teleportato Questions

    I have an RoG save created before the SW and Hamlet expansions. As I understand it's not possible to link to that RoG save world from SW or Hamlet? If I were to use the Teleportato, would that allow me the option to make the new world compatible with SW or Hamlet or is that world forever disconnected from the expansions?

    Why is Woodlegs generally considered to be so powerful?

    I find it curious that he's commonly placed very high up on the character tier list, because after a few small worlds and one 1000+ day world playing as him, he doesn't seem too great.

    First off, the items you get from the x-marks the spot chests can mostly be summed up as 'tat'. For those who don't know, the treasure that spawns from the lucky hat draws from the slot machine prize pool, and rarely - if ever - from the standard treasure pool. This means there's a small chance for a full set of thulecite gear or a magiluminescence, which is great, but also good chance to receive random resources from the carrot rolls, or mob spawns from the skulls. This still makes the mechanic a net positive, especially when farming intensively, but most desirable items are better obtained through the slot machine itself. Also, many of the items you can obtain are simply outclassed by alternatives.

    Secondly, powerful gear doesn't make for a powerful character past the early days. Current high tiers - like Wolfgang and Wickerbottom - have traits that make them more powerful than others independent of their gear. Woodlegs, on the other hand, is even less powerful than Wilson with the same loot, which is still relatively easy to obtain without x-marks the spot chests through Quacken and the slot machine.

    I won't argue for or against the sanity drain because I know some people like to play insane all the time. I think it's a big negative, because it forces use of the Tam for stable sanity levels, but you could also say that it helps to maintain insanity for fuel farming.

    Overall, Woodlegs' main advantage of being able to (possibly) acquire powerful gear early doesn't actually set him apart from others, and in the long haul there's not much reason to keep playing him other than random resource hoarding, as his core stats are neutral at best.
